AeroChill 101: Everything You Need to Know Before Your First Use
So you've decided to give AeroChill a try — welcome. Whether you found us through a friend, a TikTok video, or pure 2am desperation during a bad cramp night, here's everything you need to know to get the most out of it from day one.
Getting Started: The 3-Step Setup
Step one: position and secure. Place the pad against your lower abdomen and fasten the adjustable elastic strap around your waist. It fits sizes from 24" to 44", so there's a good range here — snug enough that it stays in place when you move, but not so tight it's uncomfortable.
Step two: choose your settings. One button cycles through three heat levels, the other cycles through three vibration modes. Mix and match based on what your body needs that day — some people want gentle warmth and movement, others want maximum heat and nothing else. There's no wrong combination.
Step three: wear it through your day. This is the part that makes AeroChill different from a traditional heating pad — it's slim and discreet enough to wear under your clothes to work, class, the gym, or your commute. You're not stuck on the couch to get relief.
How Long Does the Battery Last?
Battery life depends on which heat and vibration settings you're using — higher settings draw more power, naturally. Most customers get several solid sessions per charge, and a quick USB-C charge (same cable as your phone) tops it back up. We'd recommend charging it the night before you expect your period, so you're never caught with a dead pad mid-cramp.
A Few Things to Know Before You Start
Don't wear it directly against bare skin for long stretches. A thin layer of clothing between you and the pad protects your skin while still letting the heat through effectively. Several of our customers learned this one the hard way, so we want you to know it up front.
It's not meant for sleeping. AeroChill has a 2-hour auto-shutoff built in as a safety feature, but for overnight use, we genuinely recommend turning it off and using a traditional hot water bottle instead. AeroChill is built for your awake hours — work, commuting, daily life — not for unattended overnight use.
It's not just for period cramps. Plenty of customers use it for general lower back pain after a long day, or stomach discomfort outside of their cycle. If you're someone who deals with tension in that area regularly, it's a tool that earns its keep well beyond just one week a month.
What's Actually in the Box
You'll get the AeroChill heating pad itself, the adjustable elastic waist strap, a USB-C charging cable, and a quick-start guide so you're not hunting for instructions later.
If It's Not Right for You
We genuinely believe in this product, but we also know one size doesn't fit every body or every need. That's why there's a 30-day return policy — try it through a real cycle, and if it's not delivering the relief you hoped for, you're covered.
Ready When You Are
Period pain doesn't wait for a convenient moment, and now neither does your relief. Charge it up, strap it on, and get back to your day.
